Introducing our new service!!!
Counselling at Headway Kent.

A new specialist service for people affected by brain injury.

Life after a brain injury can change in ways that are difficult to explain. You might feel like you’ve lost the person you used to be. Relationships may feel different. Emotions can feel overwhelming, confusing or exhausting. And sometimes it can feel like nobody quite understands what brain injury has really changed.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce Counselling at Headway Kent, a specialist service designed specifically for people affected by acquired brain injury.

Unlike general counselling services, our therapists understand the emotional and psychological impact of neurological change.

We can also provide counselling to partners, carers, and families, who are adjusting to life after brain injury as well as people who have experienced loss following brain injury.

Our counselling offers a safe and supportive space to:
Make sense of difficult emotions
Talk openly about what has changed
Rebuild confidence and identity
Strengthen relationships and understanding

We offer:
Face-to-face counselling in Canterbury
Online or telephone sessions

Sessions start from £25
Sessions with qualified BACP registered counsellors

You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to have the right words. You simply need a space where someone understands the realities of brain injury.
