Headway Kent Joins Folkestone & Hythe Community Wellness Event

Date: 3rd July 2025

Headway Kent was delighted to take part in the Community Wellness Event organised by the Folkestone & Hythe District Council’s Community Safety Team on the 1st of July.

Held in the heart of the community, the event brought together local organisations working to promote health, safety, and wellbeing across the district. Our team was on hand to share information about the vital work we do supporting adults living with acquired brain injuries and their families across Kent. It was a brilliant opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with ABI and the support available through our community hubs, outreach services, and rehabilitation projects.

We were also joined by a very special guest — Boki the Bear, our friendly mascot from Wildwood Kent, who helped us spread smiles and spark curiosity throughout the day!

If you didn’t catch us this time, don’t worry — we’re always keen to attend local events, share information, and connect with new people. If you’re running a community event and would like Headway Kent to come along, please do get in touch.

Together, we can continue raising awareness and making a real difference for people living with brain injury in Kent.
